Most lead-gen tools are priced for people who already have funding.

Apollo expects $59 per seat. Clay starts at $167 a month. ZoomInfo wants an annual contract. Hunter is just emails. None of them are built for a solo operator running outbound on a Sunday afternoon, scoring a list of 50 prospects by who actually looks ready to buy.

IntentScoring is. $29 a month. 500 scored leads. Real buying signals read out of Google Maps listings, review text, and the prospect's own website. Enriched with verified contacts. Output: a ranked list, top-down.

How it works

Three steps. One ranked list.

01

Tell us your ICP

Pick a business type, a service area, and the signals that matter to you. Write the disqualifiers in plain English. The scorer reads it before it touches a single lead.

# icp · hvac contractors, nashville
Owner-operator HVAC companies, 100–2,000
Google reviews, no national franchise,
no existing call-tracking vendor.

disqualify: multi-state ops, Yext/Birdeye,

bar: 2 A-tier hits · funnel score ≥ 3
02

We pull and score

Google Maps sourcing, Hunter contact enrichment, and AI scoring against the signals in your profile. A-tier signals count 3, B-tier count 1. Every hit has to quote the text it came from.

HIT  A · Missed-call complaints in reviews
"called three times, no one picked up"
HIT  A · Owner named on About page
"family-owned by the Delgados since 1998"
HIT  B · Single phone number on site
MISS B · Chat widget vendor detected

Work the top of the list

Export to CSV, push to Airtable, or hand the list to your CRM. The top of the list is what's worth your time. Below the bar gets dropped with a reason, not silently deleted.

What's inside

Built for sales people who close, not for ops people who build dashboards.

Signal-based scoring

Reviews that mention pain points. Ownership clues. Vendor footprints. Review velocity.

Each profile carries its own signal stack, split into A-tier essentials and B-tier supporting evidence. Claude weighs the stack against your ICP and returns a 0–100 score with the funnel math shown.

Google Maps sourcing

Any business type, any area

Pull by term and location, filter on rating, review count, website, phone, and PO-box addresses before a single lead gets scored.

Verified contacts

Hunter.io enrichment

Decision-maker names, titles, and direct emails with confidence scores. Only runs on leads that already passed your filters.

Reasoning, not a black box

Every score shows the quote it was built from.

Open any lead and you see hit, miss, or unknown for each signal, with the exact review sentence or line of website copy the model scored against. Anti-signals are called out by name. You can argue with the score, which means you can trust it.

Export anywhere

CSV and Airtable

Full-column CSV export, Airtable sync with per-batch status. Your data does not get locked in.

Batch runs

A query list, not one search

Paste a list of term and location pairs. It works through them in sequence and dedupes across the whole run, which is where the volume comes from.

Honest about coverage

Unknown stays unknown

If a signal can't be checked from a public source, it reads unknown instead of guessing. Coverage is on the roadmap in the open.

FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

Read every answer on the FAQ page →

What is IntentScoring?

IntentScoring is an AI lead scoring platform for small business sales teams. It pulls businesses from Google Maps, scores them by buying signals read from listing data, review text, and the business's own website, and enriches them with verified contact information. The output is a ranked list of leads, top-down by score.

How is IntentScoring different from Apollo, Clay, or ZoomInfo?

Three differences. First, price: $29/month is the lowest entry-level tier among AI lead scoring tools in 2026. Second, sourcing: we focus on Google Maps and local-business signals, which is exactly where small business sales teams source leads. Third, simplicity: no per-seat scaling, no data-credit math, no annual contract.

What data sources does IntentScoring use?

Google Places API for business sourcing and review text. The prospect's own public website for vendor and positioning signals. Hunter.io for verified contact enrichment. Anthropic Claude for the signal analysis. All data comes from publicly available sources. No scraping of private data, no GDPR-fragile databases.

How does the scoring work?

Each profile carries a signal stack. A-tier signals are essential and count 3 each, B-tier signals are supporting and count 1 each. Claude marks every signal hit, miss, or unknown and has to quote the evidence. Hits are added up into a funnel score: 9 or more is HOT, 6 or more is WARM, 3 or more is COLD, anything below your bar is dropped with the reason attached. Anti-signals are hard disqualifiers.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 14-day free trial with full Solo-tier access. No credit card required to start. If you don't see value, you don't pay.

What businesses is this for?

Solo founders, small business sales teams, B2B marketing agencies, and SMB-focused sales operations. Strongest fit so far: local-service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing), B2B vertical SaaS, professional services agencies, government contractors, and home-services operators.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. No contract, no minimum commitment, no cancellation fee. You can switch plans up or down any time from your billing dashboard.

How fresh is the data?

Google Maps data is pulled in real time on each lead pull. Website signals are read at pull time. Hunter enrichment is verified against their database within the last 90 days.

Who built this?

IntentScoring is built by Ryan Roderick, founder of Valor Hart LLC, a veteran-owned company in Huntsville, Alabama. Valor Hart runs four small businesses across services, govcon, and SMB operations, so the product is shaped by the same reality its customers are running.

Built by someone running four small businesses.

IntentScoring is pre-launch. There are no customer logos on this page and no testimonials, because there are no customers yet. What there is: a working engine, a founder with his name on it, and pricing that does not need a funding round to make sense.

The scoring model was built to qualify leads for the four businesses Valor Hart already runs. It shipped because buying the alternative cost more than building it.
